SHN prepared a Wetland Delineation and Natural Resources Assessment for the Jordan Cove Energy Project Site. The Study Site is approximately 235 acres and is located on the north shore of Coos Bay, in Coos County, Oregon.
SHN’s work included extensive surveys for threatened and endangered plant species and wetland delineations pursuant to the Oregon Division of State Lands and Army Corps of Engineers wetland delineation protocols.
The Study Site consisted of a number of different habitat types, including uplands and wetlands, as well as a substantial developed area and fill prism on the western portion of the Study Site. Elevations throughout the Study Site range from near sea level to approximately 140 feet above Mean Sea Level (MSL). Topography varies from flat to slopes that are greater than 70 percent.
