Garry’s expertise focuses on permitting and long-range planning with an emphasis on assisting local governments and tribes with planning consulting services. He has prepared permitting applications and environmental documentation for obtaining local, state, and federal permits for a variety of residential, commercial, industrial, tribal, and public facility projects. Garry also assists several cities and counties with planning services including processing development applications, preparation of CEQA/NEPA documentation, general plan and zoning code amendments, and grant administration. Garry has been a project manager at SHN since 2016 and started in his role as the Principal of the Planning and Biology group in January 2024.
