Jason Buck, PG, CEG

Geosciences Service Area Principal

Jason brings more than 20 years of experience as a project manager, becoming our Geosciences Principal in 2022. His background is in geologic hazard and geotechnical studies throughout Northern California and Southern Oregon. His primary technical responsibilities include fault hazard evaluations, landslide investigations and mitigations, and preparation of geotechnical reports for regulatory compliance. Jason was an early adopter and champion of Unoccupied Aerial Systems (UAS) and has “piloted” this drone technology from hobby-level to professional service, applying drone-acquired data to topographic and vegetative mapping as one of SHN’s services.
